In order to keep track of the many different management and climate scenarios modeled, the following file naming conventions should be used so that each data file fully describes its contents and the correct file can be chosen for each translation and simulation.

Crop modeling input data:

File_type-REG_ID-CRID_text-CLIM_ID-RAP_ID-MAN_ID.ext

Examples:

Survey_data-REG1-Maize.xlsx  (measured field conditions do not include climate  or management id)

Field_Overlay-REG2-Sorghum.xlsx

Seasonal_strategy-REG1-Rice-4IFA-0-0.xlsx  (current management)

Seasonal_strategy-REG1-Cotton-4IFA-0-1.2.zip (adaptation scenario)

Seasonal_strategy-REG1-Millet-4IFA-5.1-1.1.zip (RAP and adaptation scenario)

ACMO File Naming Convention:

ACMO-REG_ID-CRID_text-CLIM_ID-RAP_ID-MAN_ID-CROP_MODEL.csv

Example:

ACMO-REG1-Peanut-4IFA-4.1-1.2-DSSAT.csv

These files are automatically named by ACMOUI.

TOA-MD File Naming Convention:

TOAin-REG_ID-Phase-ResearchQuestion(1,2,3 or4)-ClimID-RAP_ID-Man_ID-CropModel.xlsx

Examples:

TOAin-REG1-2-1-4IFA-0-1.1-DSSAT.xlsx

TOAout-REG1-2-4-4IFA-5.1-1.2-DSSAT.xlsx

These must be named manually, and should match the similar metadata in the ACMO name.
